Bio: Hello! My name is Linda and I am so glad you are here to meet me! This is an embroidery and sewing blog. Being passionate about constantly improving embroidery skills and learning to digitize, I will be posting about my path in learning new skills in both embroidery and sewing. Some tutorials with pictures along the way hopefully will answer some of your questions as you are trying out new ideas. Love the Craftsy classes! They are really wonderful tools and I have also learned so much by watching U-Tube (like how to set up a hat frame and embroider a cap.) I covet all corrections and ideas on better/easier ways to do this work to move my progress forward at an ever increasing rate. So please post your comments!!! A little about me. I grew up as an Army brat moving so fast I never had time to hang on to friends (I counted 18 houses between 1st and 12th grade!!) And then as a wife and mother, moved with the Air Force for a time. A stay at home mom, I ran a registered family home day care for several years. I'm now retired from the Austin Independent School District and have never looked back!. An embroidery business at home is my investment in retirement to stay active with learning and with helping others have beautiful products that they need/want. Above all, my name is Child of the One True King. I love God and I love all others as myself. I am busy serving in the United Methodist Church as a Stephen Minister along with serving through local and international missions, Kairos prison ministry and Walk to Emmaus. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you with learning a skill and/or providing a service to you!
