Cute Clutches by Linda Snow
June 21, 2014
1:00 – 3:00
Recently retired from the Austin Independent School District, Linda Snow has a home-based sewing and embroidery business called Embroidery Details. While giving basic sewing classes for adults and children, based upon their individual needs and taking in sewing and embroidery orders from the community, she still has time to make projects for herself. She loved the design of the Quick to Make project, “High-Octane clutch,” in Threads, no. 169. Pictures of a few clutches Linda has made appear in Threads, no. 172. These are so simple and make great gifts using materials from your fabric stash.
At the June meeting, Linda will present the Quick to Make project, “High-Octane clutch” from Threads no.169, offering members a free pattern to make their own clutch. The process for sewing the clutches will be discussed with plenty of time for questions.
Linda will also bring other projects she has made for your viewing. As with most of us, she has given away most of her creations, but will bring pictures! Go to Embroiderydetails.me/ which is a blog where Linda attempts to post a new project piece each day.
Be sure to be present for a special door prize made by Linda!!
